Shoot The Drugs

Smart Up’s Annual Anti-Drug Sports Campaign

About Shoot The Drugs

Shoot the Drugs" (STD) is Smart Up Educations' largest annual sports event, launched in 2018 to encourage students to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle while staying away from drugs. What started as a football tournament among five branches has now evolved into one of Kochi’s largest student-participated events, with 8 branches and more than 15 teams.

A Legacy That Grows Each Year

The inaugural Season 1 of Shoot the Drugs was held at Santa Cruz School Ground in October 2018 with a football tournament featuring junior and senior categories. Over the years, the tournament expanded, attracting an increasing number of participants. Now, the event is hosted at the iconic Maharaja’s Stadium, where many of Kerala’s national and international athletes have taken their first steps toward glory.

A Massive Student Participation

STD has grown into Kochi’s biggest student-involved sports event, with over 1,500 students proudly representing their branches, wearing customized team jerseys. Their enthusiasm, discipline, and passion for sports are a testament to the event’s success and its impact on students' lives.
